PLEASE READ 

***************Last year was amazing and this year we have a real stage to perform on. The Opera House is historic which also translates to old. It has a charm that is irresistable as well as paranormal activity. I've seen it with my own eyes. My dancers have had experiences as well. **************** It's a great back drop for the showcase, but being as old as it is and going through many ups and downs with hurricane damage etc, the floors are not in tip top condition. Please wear dance shoes during the workshops and I would suggest for stage as well. ************* I'm working on getting a photographer, video grapher a place to hang out in between the workshop and showcase on Saturday etc. There is a gap of 4 hours between the workshop and show, but those hours will go by pretty quickly. My suggestion is to stay in town (maybe even do a little shopping) and either go to Arcadia Seafood and Grill Restaurant right across the street to relax and have a nice meal or hang out at the Opera House and rest up a little. Bring a mat or something to lay on, I'll have snack foods and drinks for the dancers during that gap and during the show.*************** There is also the option of sharing a room at The Oak Park Inn or other hotel in town. You can take showers and doll up there. For some of us we will be prepping the stage and auditorium for the show that evening.

Drum & Dance with Derek & Lorelie

Have you always wanted to dance to a live drummer but weren't sure what to do or how to recognize the rhythm? You'll learn both in these monthly classes with Drummer Derek and Dancer Lorelie.

*We'll drum and dance the rhythms together. This workshop is open to anyone who wants to learn more about dancing and drumming to the rhythms of the Middle East.

The one hour classes will be held to be determined
