Lorelie Carvey has studied with Riskallah Riyad in Connecticut since 2002. She was a lead dancer and soloist for The Riskallah Riyad Dance Theatre Company.  Lorelie is a seasoned performer with appearances in countless shows, festivals and private parties. She also has attended many workshops with the late Mahmoud Reda of Egypt, Elena Lentini of NYC, the late Marta Zorina of the Russian Ballet, Egypts Karim Nagi, Egyptian dance artist Mohamed Shahin and many more …

 

In 2022 after 20 years of studying, performing and teaching with Riskallah Riyad she and her husband Scott Carvey moved to Southwest Florida where Lorelie is continuing to share the joy of bellydance through classes and workshops at two locations. Her home studio in Deep Creek Punta Gorda and Heart and Sole Dance Center in Port Charlotte,
